About my work on Crops Warriors
Crops Warriors is the project I worked on as part of my last year at ESMA. It's a game where players play a group of farmer collecting ressources on an hostile planet with various weapons.

The game is made with Unity.

I was a game and level designer as well as the person making some, and implementing all of the sound effects.

Game and Level Design
Alexian Raguin and I worked on Game and Level Design. Our main goal during R&D was to find exactly in which direct we could take the project, and communicated with our team through documentation and a Wiki. We then decied on what kind of game we wanted, and production started.

We wanted a game that was all about chaotic cooperation between player to solve puzzles and combat scenarios to create memorable situations.
​
Our core loop was : players want to get somewhere and encounters a situation, tries to solve it while ennemis disturbes them, the player manages to complete the situation or fails, hence and repeat.

I mainly worked on gun feel, level design, and balance.

- Gun Feel : prototyping of said gun feel as well as balancing in collaboration with Alexian Raguin. We used Excel and Unity engine itself.

- Level Design : I mainly worked on the conception side of our Level Design. I mainly used paper, but I also used Maya and Unity itself
Sound Design and integration
First of all, I was never formed on sound design as part of the ESMA cursus. All of the skills I aquired from Crops Warriors in this field were learnt on the fly.

I mainly worked using Audacity with sample found on Pixabay to make the various sounds present in game.
